Lovebirds Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This policy explains what information the game Lovebirds ("the app") handles on iOS and Android, and why. The app is made by Zen Farhat ("we", "us").

Information we collect

We do not ask for your name, email or any account. We do not run our own servers, and we do not receive or store personal information about you.

Your game progress and settings (levels reached, hints, daily streak, sound and music settings and whether you bought Remove Ads) are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

DataPurpose
Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; Android advertising ID)Advertising, measurement and, if permitted, personalised ads
IP address and approximate (coarse) locationChoosing relevant ads, fraud prevention
Device and app information, ad interactions, diagnosticsAd delivery, analytics and performance

Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

iOS: the app asks your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before your advertising identifier can be used for tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads).

In-app purchases

The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made so it can turn off ads.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data, or to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for advertising. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, the controls above (tracking permission and advertising ID settings) are the most direct way to exercise these rights. Requests relating to Google's processing can be made through Google's privacy tools. You can also contact us at the address below.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
